Produced the Short Animated Film “Bhajju Shyam – MORIBITO: The Keeper of Memories”

We produced Bhajju Shyam – MORIBITO: The Keeper of Memories, a Japan–India co-produced short animated film created as a companion piece to MORIBITO: The Keeper of Memories, an autobiographical picture book by Bhajju Shyam, an artist from India’s Gond community.

Based on Bhajju Shyam’s own narration and original artwork, the film explores his life, memories, and the creative experiences that have shaped his work. Accompanied by music, his original artwork gently comes to life, revealing a world shaped by the visual traditions passed down through the Gond community and by the artist’s distinctive perspective.

The film was selected for the Short Animation Category at the 1st Japan-China International Animation Film Festival (JCIAFF2026), where it received its world premiere.
